After yesterday's news and last night's mini breakdown, John's taken to the couch today. He hasn't said much, hasn't listened much. He almost regrets not inviting his parent's to this weekend because, at least, he'd been with his mother when she found out.

Aeryn's tried to stay close, but not be intrusive. This is harder that she thought. Mostly this involves doing little things around the room and trying to stay out of his way. When she finally notices the time, she asks, "Are you hungry?"

"Hmmm?" He's gone from angry to distracted and quiet.

"Are you hungry?" she asks again, stepping closer.

"Oh." He shrugs. "Not really. Thanks, though."
