John's arrived rather early, hoping to help Rory set up what he can. He'd also brought three cartons of chocolate milk that Rory hasn't touched. He pours her a glass anyway. Calcium, you know. And the chocolate, of course.

So, he sets up what he can and doesn't push Rory into talking. Hey, he learns, you know.

The first words out of Aeryn's mouth when she sees Callisto are, "We need to talk. Now."

"Where did this come from?" she wonders, because she has to ask.

"I killed everyone," Callisto replied. "You, John, Rory, everyone. He said it was only a nightmare. But it was real enough to me."

Aeryn's been able to shut herself off for this whole thing, which is the only reason she doesn't blink when she says, "I've been killed in dreams before and it probably felt real then, too. I'm still here. Doesn't mean it happens."

"But it wasn't a dream, I was awake, I made the choice. It was just luck that later it turned out to all be in my head."

Aeryn's still not sure exactly what happened, but she can still give responses. "Well, if you're stepping in front of pulse blasts, I'm going to take from that the assumption that you regret doing something you didn't really do. In which case, learn from it, and don't make the choice again."

Aeryn shakes her head. "Stop it, you're not frelling killing yourself- or letting anyone or anything else do it- and that's final."
