The walk from 238 to 209 is not far and it doesn't take particularly long except when you're trying to hit people who aren't there and are vehemently muttering to people who are not there.

So, he manages to make it to 209 and knock but when Aeryn opens the door, he's frantically trying to swat away something no one else can see.

That, sadly enough, doesn't surprise her, and she opens the door wider to let him in. "Hi," she says.

"Hi," he says, exhaustion evident in his voice. He comes inside and scrubs at his head. "Hi."

She closes the door again, and seeing him is much easier than just hearing what's happening. "There's aspirin, if you need it." She doesn't know if it will help, but she thought it was worth a try.

"I can't handle this for very much longer."

"Oh, of course you can, John. We're a team, you and I." Baseball uniform and spitting tobacco, Scorpy waves at him.

"Shut up!" And he rubs his eyes again. "I'm so tired."
