Challenge 114

This week bring us sweet dreams with stories of sleep.

Prompt 114 Sleep

It’s a cool night but the car is warm, it’s late, the street is quite, and the suspect is going absolutely nowhere. It would be so easy for an agent to just let their eyes flutter for a moment and succumb to sleep. Did our (once) by-the-book Peter ever doze off on a stakeout as a young agent? How about Jones stuck in the van for all those long hours? Was Neal able to sleep that first night in prison, did he even want to? Or how about those last few nights when he knew his plans were about to lock into place? When you’re an FBI agent long lazy mornings with the option to sleep in must be a rarity. When you’re a con artist on the run they must be rare as well.

We got a sunshiney new story from elrhiarhodan last week to give us all a warm glow. Thank you, dear.

Sorry about the late posting. Happy day off for those getting one.
