I respectfully disagree.

Life has as much meaning as we give it, and as we allow it to have. Not believing in God or an afterlife, I cling to this life harder than I did when I was a believer, because this is all I have with the people I love, all the time I will have to do the things I want to do. I cherish the people in my life and the time that I have with them because life is too fucking fragile, because someday they'll be gone, and because someday, I'll be gone, too.

Life, for me, is more meaningful than it was when it was a blip of obedience in a swath of eternity.
