I think he does care, but I think he's too much of a shithead to say what the real problem is. It's within him. He has to deal with that and one day, he has to cop to it. Someday, he will have to realize that he is the only person who can fix Jason - and the best way to do that is to face what disturbs him so much about the pain, instead of running away from it.

i'm not sure what this is about since i don't know the situation but it does seem to me that you are dealing with a person who is very selfish. I don't know how anyone can blame their parents after a certain age for things, because after awhile, it becomes up to you to fix yourself. Who was the comment about marriage aimed at?

Yeah, it sucks, but what can you do? Hes still my brother and I love him, but if this is the way he chooses to be, I cant do anything about it.

i wouldn't take it personally. i doubt he is choosing to be that way if he really is as depressed as everyone says he is. it probably has less to do with choice than it has to do with having trouble dealing with it. i hope he is getting help, right.

I dont know, he has deleted his journal and were not exactly on speaking terms right now. I hope so.
