More Fangirl Ramblings...

Well, livejournal has decided I speak French, which I do, but since every group I belong to is in English you'd think it would understand I want my layout to be in English. Stupid computers!

Saw Red Eye this weekend with my dad (not the best person to see that movie with, though), and decided I was going to completely freak out the person sitting ( Read more... )

Oooh! You saw Dr Who? Which one?

And I definately agree with you about how fabulous it is to have openly bi character... especially considering it's aired on a mainstream channel at 7:00 (or in UK it is anyway)

And sounds like a fabulous crossover - not seen batman begins, but looking forward to reading it!

My only problem is Balthazar's habit of getting himself handcuffed!
Balthazar...handcuffs... this is a problem how?

Well it's a problem because for the moment it's not sex-related... So, yeah.

Saw two episodes of Docot Who now, last week was something about the doctor dancing, and this week Boom Town or something. I love Jack! When he sees Rose and that guy i don't know hug and goes "Why can't I get some of that?" (I'm paraphrasing) amnd the Doctor answers "You'd have to buy me a drink first" to which Jack replies "That's too much work!". The Doctor: "But worth it!". LOVE IT! I don't really like Rose though, seems like she's done nothing really constructive that I've seen so far... But then I've only seen two episodes ( ... )

Ahh... I see how that's a problem then...

I love Jack!

I definately, definately agree - and I love Jack/Doctor... they are so cute together! Especially the Doctor's comment about Jack being 'flexible'... I think that's in The Doctor Dances, but I'm not sure!

I think she is supposed to be the person to ask questions, otherwise the audience would have no idea what's going on - at least that's what the companion is often used for in Doctor Who. And Jack knows too much to ask the sort of questions that Rose can.

All right, I'll admit that Rose is pretty useful to demand exposition. And I do like her energy... She's a lot less annoying than a lot of women in sci-fi. But have you tried reading Doctor Who fanfiction? It's all Rose/Doctor/Jack with about 2 Jack/Doctor stories! That's enough to make me prejudiced against the girl!;-)
