Can't even remember what I wrote anymore, hmm ...
It's a good chapter though, really it is. And, as I'm sure everyone will be, I'm glad you squozed the dressing gown scene in there.
I love Howl's relationship with Mairi, too. It makes me saaaaad ;_;
And there was some rant approximately here that was about denied kittenhood and 'the pinprick of tiny claws', but I feel it rather burned with righteous fury and was, as such, quite daft.
Or something.
Sleep is good.

Oh, because my uncle (who, in a cliched way, was more like a father to me) died of cancer five years ago, and it reminds me of that. He was very much like Howl himself (worryingly), only without the whole magic thing ... (I think. Who knows?)
Fortunately, he doesn't seem as bothered by it as I am.
