Thanks! I don't usually like to write something that has no hope at the end, but that's the way this really goes. Yohji's slow descent breaks my heart.

I really like this darker side of Yohji that you portrayed here, and how his addictions had finally won the battle for control. There were so many hints throughout the series that his drinking/smoking/sex/etc habits were to mask the pain he was feeling. Apparently the self-medication didn't work in the end.

Would like to see where you take this. Is there a sequal in the works?

Despite Yohji's angst in Kapital, he seems so happy-go-lucky a lot of the time. The time between then and Gluhen though, he really hits rock bottom and never quite makes it out. The end of Gluhen just kills me, which I why I started writing WK fic to begin with, because I wanted to fix everything. Yohji is a very dark character, maybe more so than the others.

I wasn't a huge fan of Gluhen either - the ending really bothered me for a very long time after I first saw it. I wasn't happy until I got my copy of Weiss Side B and saw that Aya survived, though I still bitched about him and Yohji being seperated. I've also tried my own fix to make it all better.

Your story fits nicely into the canon storyline in showing the gulf between Aya and Yohji. Really liked this and am looking forward to Stages.
