The light is beginning to fade as evening draws closer, and the paths in the forest are growing shadowed.
Despite this, the gleam of a white cloak can easily be seen moving through the trees and away from the bar.

He points the sonic screwdriver toward the edge, fiddling with various settings, looking for something that would disrupt the power source long enough for them to break free.

"You're as bad as Ray and Egon. Yeah, great. Evil net thing that's trying to kill us. Yeah, that's really wonderful. I think we should shoot our way out of this fishnet before we're a couple of sorry fishies."
He readied the thrower for blasting, but unsure how it would affect the structure. And the effect of it was way too close to the Other's whammy on him for his comfort.
Like hell he was going through that mess again.

The spaces between the finely gleaming wires begin to darken with thickening shadows, blocking more and more of the light from those within. A subtle tension begins to build within the trap as the magic strengthens, trying to elicit feelings of fear and tension, of choking and claustrophobia.
However, the iron strung so carefully through the structure of the web is beginning to vibrate in response to the sonic resonance of the Doctor's screwdriver-- slowly at first, then faster, and faster still.

He refines the frequency further as he talks, able to shrug off the fear for the moment. The battery in the screwdriver is being drained faster than it should be as well because of the energy field, but he hopes it will be enough to shatter the web.

"Well, screw that! Let's prove that bitch wrong, and get the hell out of here."

The iron is interfering, though.

It's louder inside the sphere than outside, and the sound itself is becoming a wildly beating force of its own against the eardrums and the bodies of the two trapped--
--and then the strain of the oscillation is too much for the structure. A high-pitched keening wail shrieks through the air in tones of bending metal, and the iron strung tautly through the net explodes outward. The energy released swirls wildly upward in a funnel-cloud shape, drawn into darkness and away.

"Ow. Well, then. Everyone all right? No harm done? Good. And on we go."
Taking the lead, the Doctor continues on down the path, hoping they didn't fall too far behind Blodwen during their distraction.

"Whoa, whee, let's never go on that one again." He blinked a few times, and then followed.

He's still bleeding from several small wounds when he stands to follow the other two, though.

This might be taken as a good sign, by some; however, anyone particularly sensitive to the presence of magic or the power of the Dark may realize that it is due to the absence of the energy that was just drained -- energy that has gone somewhere else, for another purpose.
What purpose that may be remains to be seen.
As they continue along the path, they come to a fork. One way leads deeper into the forest, possibly deep enough to brush the edges of the Dreaming if one goes far enough. It is covered with darkness and shadows, and looks anything but inviting.
The other route curves around to the left before taking a sideways skip and vanishing entirely behind a stand of trees. It looks like a normal forest path.
Utterly, absolutely, perfectly normal, down to the soft breeze -- cool crisp air, as from a distant mountain top-- fluttering the leaves and causing the light to flicker wildly.

"Any votes, gentlemen?"

"Let's see. If I was an evil ice witch, which way would I go? Down the dark path, which hey, I'm a part of. Or down the nice light, happy path?" Hang on, maybe he could use his own radar for this.
So he closed his eyes, and tried to increase his awareness of the area. Getting an idea of which direction Blodwen likely was.
