I still can't seem to get back into the spa. I apologize to the Serenity workers that I've been out so long already.
[Ink droplets if debating whether she wants to write more or not]
Thank you - to the Medics who looked after me, to the ones who helped Fayth, and to those who have been patient with me. I've [pause] learned a lot lately.
Signed

--QL go!--
[She's set up a basic campsite, with a tent and fire-pit. She's huddled by the fire, sitting on a tree stump, when he arrives. Her hunched posture is very uncharacteristic.]

Hey there. [offers a smile, though it doesn't show around his eyes as much as it should- there's concern in his eyebrows and the wrinkling around his eyes.] Can I help you?
Reply
[A scrutinizing glance - but who else would be coming out this way?] An unusual face - you sound as if you know me. Perhaps you knew Serenity?
Reply
I suppose it is that different! I'm Eagle. Serenity? [his expression turns curious, and he shakes his head] Doesn't ring any bells. You resemble her?
Reply
But what happened to you?
Reply
I think it's something the Tree did- swapping my body for someone else's. It's a little strange, but it's not that bad. [aside from the feelings he gets looking at himself]

Yes I have, so a few say. So many choose their names, but I didn't choose Rauxes - it's my name. So why 'Serenity'? It perplexes me.
Reply
Maybe it wasn't as clear to you then. Maybe 'Serenity' was something that came through more strongly that time.

[She appeared wistful for a moment before balking sharply and scooting to the edge of her makeshift seat.]
There! Oh please, get it away! [It was a small, completely ordinary... frog.]
Reply
[He turns sharply to the direction she's facing, hand going for his knife, then relaxes when he spots the frog, and heads towards it.] All right, I've got it! [He doesn't, though, not quite- it's slippery, and not too happy about being caught when he does catch it, struggling to get loose as Eagle takes it away from Rauxes' campsite. When he returns:] Are there any others?
Reply
I don't know. I don't specifically look for them - I just wish there weren't so many of them. [She rubbed her arms as if she was cold, with a slightly distraught look on her face before shaking her head.] I know they aren't out to harm me, but all the same I just... can't bear the sight of them right now.

[She waits patiently for his return, closing her eyes as she tries to calm her nerves.]

Alright, I think you're clear for the night!
