Nice! I like where you went with this. Didn't notice the wing thing til you mentioned it. And Charlie calling Cas Robin! LOLOLOL Seriously cannot wait til they meet for the first time, though it will probably be next season. This story made my day! Thanks!

It probably will be, sadly. Oh well! We can but hope! Misha and Felicia both seem eager, so at least they're on our side. :)

This was just lovely and subtle and aaaaah. You do a lot with these little details that makes them feel rich and insightful: the lack of wings, Cas looking at stew like it's telling him things, those scene breaks that leave much of them ending up sharing a bed offscreen. Yay.

Well, let's face it, the show does those scene breaks on Castiel/Dean reunions ALL THE TIME DAMMIT - I'm sure next week will cut straight to them sitting around in the bunker with Castiel patched up and everyone pretending not to be emotional, instead of Dean going all IT'LL BE OKAY EEK WHAT DO WE DO over him on the road. :P But glad you liked it! :)

Ha, I wouldn't be surprised if you were right about next week. Which is a bit of a shame because Dean's IT'LL BE OKAY EEK WHAT DO WE DO face is always good value for money.

Unforunately I'm sure it's just that they got lazy with continuity/sfx. But THAT DOES NOT MEAN I CAN'T HAVE FUN WITH IT.

After next week's episode I see myself looking dubiously at the screen and mumbling "It was not suppose to continue like that..." = ) Lovely piece! ^^

Ohbut these last two episodes have given me great hope. And they do have the indisputable advantage of having, you know, Jensen and Misha and Jared acting their version out! :) But thank you! Let's just hope they don't cut straight past the first emotional shock (as they almost often do with dean/cas reunions) and go to the point where they've got all their feelings safely buckled down again!

Well, that quotation was nicely prophetic! And this story is lovely, but apparently Dean hasn't got as much sense as that. I guess it's too much to hope that Sam or Dean will remember, in the finale, what the answer to that question is. It's such a useful answer.

... wasn't it just. Unfortunately Buffy has far more self-worth than either of them - they know they're left, they just don't think that's important. :P
