For my own curiosity, and because I am restless and looking for distraction from certain RL things. Feel free to elaborate on any answers in comments, and bear in mind that I've a Sam/Gabriel scene from when they were Outside, just after they changed him back into human-shaped, queued up to post next week for the Sabriel minibang.

Okay, I haven't caught up to the latest chapter yet, but the childhood! yes, please, the childhood. I've always wanted to read more of it.

Noted! That childhood voice was a fun one to write. It'd be interesting to see if I could recapture it again, at the distance of several months, and in greater detail than the fairytale-like narrative that the prologue is as it stands...

I definitely want something from Gabriel's point of view, and something about Sam and Gabriel in the barn -- because whatever they said to each other, it was important to Sam's decision to go with Gabriel at the pass.

I'd also like something more on angel society, because I really am curious about how it works, and let's face it, Dean isn't the best observer for that sort of thing.

True, and we get a hint of how important that was for Sam in the Sabriel minibang. I do know fairly well what happened - it played out in my head around the time I was writing that - and I've completely forgotten the dialogue, but I do remember the emotional shape of it, and what I'd call the blocking if this was a stage production. :) Dialogue is easily rewritten anyway!

Dean is definitely not the best observer. I wonder if I might combine a few of these prompts - Castiel's pov of a scene from their childhood, and after a day with Sam and Dean he goes back to Balthazar and we see them talking and something of angel society behind that...

Ooooh. Yes, please, combine as much as you please. The only reason I didn't check everything is that I was trying to be helpful. (Which worked about as well as you'd expect, producing a three-way tie at 19 votes.)

That's okay, I'll probably just go 'hey, I feel like writing THIS today' anyway. :) But seeing what people are interested in does help in making me more enthusiastic about a particular idea.
