... Suddenly, Anna/Charlie is trying to write its way into my Fox and the Hound AU. I've never written Anna, never even particularly liked her, and Charlie didn't even exist when I started writing this thing. Halp.

Go for it. We need more good femmeslash in the world.

Now Charlie and Dean are wrapping the trunks of Charlie's apple trees against codlin moth (she has an idea! She will combat the evil moths with RAGS and it will work! and then there will be EVEN BETTER CIDER in autumn!) and opining together about how neither of them particularly want to get married but (Sam having Mysteriously Vanished) each of their houses are sort of lonely at night. Well, Charlie is opining. Dean is... not disagreeing. In this society, they don't really know that homo/bisexuality even exists, just neither of them finds the opposite sex particularly attractive. IT IS WRITING ITSELF. I blame Charlie.

(To date, Cas and Dean have kissed three times. Dean still hasn't worked it out.)

(Cas does not know that latter fact.)

How old are they at this point? Because even in societies that are heavily against expressed homosexuality, people do hear about, usually as insults and crude jokes.

LOL.... Dean is a bit dense.

Um. It's sixteen years since he last saw Cas as a child, and that was when he was... 9 or 10? Charlie's a little younger, not much, and has been living alone for a while (they've had a pretty heavy death rate in the last decade or so, between the regular monsters and then the demons and then the angels - which is, of course, all the more reason to be pairing off as quick as possible, so Dean gets his extra weight of Not Doing My Job guilt).

Thing is, it's such a small closed community, and sex mostly exists within marraige because in a community like this sex OUTSIDE marriage could be pretty disruptive and would therefore be very irresponsible, hence virgin!Dean (who just keeps entertaining me, because, well, virgin!Dean). So, crude jokes possibly (probably sometimes, yes), but it wouldn't really register as a possibility. Certainly not as anything that relates to marriage(-like relationships), because, really, that is quite a leap if you're used to thinking about marriage primarily in social terms, not sexual. At least, not for ( ... )

Oh!
Wanna read some femslash... Especially if it's written by you.
I maybe even could give Dean and Cas a try (it's just not working in my head. Guess I'm like Dean. Didn't figured it out yet :)
What are you doing to me, Ô, Great Beta!

Well, the whole story's from Dean's point of view, so it certainly won't be explicit or even very detailed. But I can see that relationship actually, scarily, working.

(And then everyone hid from the redheaded doom.)

It's all more about the relationships than the sex for me anyway (but you already knew that!). I am seriously starting to doubt whether Cas and Dean will ever get around to more than a bit of heated making out in the course of this story. Silly boys. And Gabriel definitely isn't going to jump Sam for at least a year after the close of this story, so the Sam/Gabriel is effectively just a friendship thing...

There are going to have to be Sam-point-of-view timestamps. Interesting things keep happening when Dean is not around!
