I've never had the money to spare to be able to subscribe to the show, but I have the season 1 dvd. It was hilarious, but I didn't feel it was worth the price they charged. And when the prices of the dvd's went even higher, I never got another one (hell, Gramma bought the first one, I refused to pay for it myself so I asked for a xmas gift of it).

Still, I always wanted to subscribe. Lamented over not being able to. But now, just HEARING about it and watching the preview vids, I'm so glad I never spent a dime. It seems really stupid.

This is my "outsider looking in" reply cuz I'm not a subscriber and never have been. =\

I'm not a subscriber even though I wanted to just to see the B rolls (to me they leave off the funniest shit just so you will subscribe). I also think it is a crime that I bought all 6 seasons on DVD and we didn't get all of the B rolls.

But on to your point. I agree. They were funnier in the first 2 seasons and went downhill consistently from there with a random interesting ep in between. This season - I don't care for much except the Artist ep. I like watching Jeff paint, to see his vision come to life like that.

Other than that, eh...

I agree Andrew seemed intimidated at times too especially around their father.

Matt is an attention whore but we've always known that. Kimo is okay. Yuk can be irritating at times. I'd prefer to see more of Kirby on the show than the other two.

And I'm still waiting for my Bones DVD to show up in the mail.

Excellent topic!

i've never subscribed to the hardy show either.
a friend at work just let me borrow a few episodes she downloaded.

anyway, not to be a token jealous-sounding fangirl here;
but i really don't agree with beth being full of win? o_O lol.
she seems very arrogant about her relationship with jeff in some episodes, which is just quite immature and annoying, i think.
but that's just my opinion on that.

as far as andrew wright - he was irritating, but i agree with you... i kinda miss him a little! he was really funny at narrating and stuff i think.

people might not agree, but matt totally MAKES the show for me.
he's just brilliant! haha. i can't describe it any other way... i just think he's great on the show.

I honestly don't see it as being arrogant and immature but if I were in her shoes and people constantly dogged my relationship with someone that is loved by millions of girls, I would be slightly defensive as well. The amount of fake Beth profiles and/or profiles meant simply to slam her is amazing.

Maybe it's because I've met her in person a couple of times that I see her in a different light but there's always a warmness about her.

i suppose so.
but then that's where i am a different person than beth and you, i guess.

i wouldn't even THINK of saying stuff like "jeff, tell them who's your girlfriend" on camera and stuff, if i were in her shoes.
i just think it's quite attention seeking and cocky. :/
it seemed really immature to me. and again - i'm not saying this as a "jealous fangirl". i'm just saying it as a human. (y)

but in other news - she replied to my neice kiera on twitter last night and we totally got so excited. :D haha.
we're just two chicks from belfast, northern ireland... so we don't ever get the opportunity to properly meet anyone. that's why it's exciting for us. :')

I like Matt Hardy when he just isn't trying to be the big shot. With Shannon and Jeff on , they don't feel as forced.

The thing with Matt that puts me off is how arrogant he can be at all times. Even if the topic is not about him, he has to find a way to make it about him. I always knew he was but it puts me off more when I see him on some episodes. It's as if he's thinking, "let me force a laugh, let me move the camera away from this dude and put it back on me, let me get drunk and try to get a laugh or let me mock this fan when they aren't looking."

He's funny and interesting when he's not trying to be.

I understand that they're trying to expand the cast but having the same people in almost every episode like Yuk and especially Kimo is a bit of an over kill now. It used to be cool to see cameos of them but now it's like.."oh it's you again".

i agree..the man loves himself! the biggest turn off in a guy (in any person really) to me is when they know they're good looking and they act like they're best thing since sliced bread >.>

anyway i agree the show has changed, it's the same thing over again plus the same people..kimo seems as cocky as matt i mean honestly dude do we need to see your abs every episode? yuk is the most irritating of them all..he tries to hard to fit in it seems..the prices have gone up on the dvds too even the sale price is shit..ok i'm done ranting lol great topic btw!=]

i disagree.

i actually hate watching shannon on the show. he's got that "i'm cool, i'm a hardass... cus i have tonnes of tattoos... bow to me" vibe. not a fan.
not a personal attack, because obviously i don't know him personally and have never met him or whatever. this is just the feeling i get watching him on the show.

i don't mind jeff on the show, he doesn't do anything irritating. but then again, that's probably because he doesn't do much at all. he's mellow, it's the way he is. i dig that. :)

matt makes it funny, whether he's "arrogant" or not. he's the LIFE of the show, in my opinion. i like that his personality is the total opposite of jeff, in that respect. we can't have two mellow, quiet brothers.
he's the BALLS. (y)
