picspam: the secret history dreamcast

Title says it, really. Casting The Secret History by Donna Tartt.

Notes: I've been wanting to do this forever. My original favorite cast for Francis is Simon Woods, but I couldn't find any decent pictures of him. Also, I wanted Claire Danes for Camille. Same issue. But well, here it is, finally, and it's probably my first real lj post. There is also a mix that accompanies the picspam, but I'll upload that later, I guess. 8tracks is not done yet.

So let's begin.

1. Joseph Gordon-Levitt as Richard Papen
(He is the easiest to like, of course. I thought about James McAvoy for the role, but he seems just a bit too harsh.)

2. Julia Stiles as Camille Macaulay
(Camille, sweet Camille, beautiful Camille.)

3. Jamie Bell as Charles Macaulay
(Easily my... third favorite character. Charles/Camille gives me chills, of course.)

4. Gaspard Ulliel as Henry Winters
("I loved him more than my own father", he said, "I loved him more than anyone else in the world."
No need to mention he is my favorite. Henry, Henry, Henry.)

5. Robert Pattinson as Bunny Corcoran
(I love Bunny. He is Sebastian Flyte in so many ways... "And thus we leave Donne and Walton at the strands of metahemeralism and present our affectionate good-bye, these eminent comrades from old times.")

6. Hayden Christensen as Francis Abernathy
(Oh God, oh God. Francis/Richard. Yes. Yes.)

7. Udo Kier as Julian Morrow
(I always pictures him as my own Latin teacher, though. There were certain similar characteristics.)
Yes, and that's about it. I could have looked up quotes with physical descriptions ~ but I am really too lazy for that. Being out of school (mostly, at least) does that to you. Probably.
This took less time than I thought. Finding the pictures and "mending" them together was about 2 hours, and getting LJ to like me enough to let me post here took another half an hour. Now, back to Jasper Fforde. Bye!
