Still Human 04: Neighbours trash the Peeping Thom

Yesterday, George and Thomas played ghost-hunters - and a hand of poker - in the local graveyard.  They returned home in the early morning, shortly before the carpool arrived to take George to his first day as a fish chummer.
Right away, George's skills are put to the test: he runs out of fish to chum!

George places quality over convenience - and management rewards his decision!

He's promoted on the spot to Dolphin Tank Cleaner.  Cleaning the tanks is still dirty work, but as a Knowledge Sim, George is happy to be working with such intelligent creatures.  He may even learn something from them!  The downside, though, is that he has to go straight back to work as soon as he gets home.

Shortly after George leaves, there's a phone call for him.

It's the pizza delivery girl from the other night.  She has the whimsical name of Autumn Winkle.  George must have
made an impression on Autumn, even though he was actually excited to see the pizza, not the pizza girl.

After taking down a message from Autumn, Thomas harvests the first crop of (sickly) oranges.

Thomas has wanted to find a job in the culinary track, and today he's hired as a dishwasher.

The job doesn't start for two days, however (he missed today's carpool).  Thomas is a homebody, so I feel as though he's pulled a fast one on me.  He has a job, but he's still able to stay around the house a little longer!

Meanwhile, George is hard at work cleaning those tanks.  When a dolphin asks to be set free, George follows his instincts and returns it to the wild.

George's intuition is rewarded when the dolphin returns with undersea treasure!  George further rewards himself by not reporting said treasure to his boss.

What his boss doesn't know can't hurt George - he's promoted to Sea Lice Research Assistant!  He really does seem to have an aptitude for this career track.

George's hard work has led to two promotions on the same day.  Thomas, on the other hand, has to clean up after two pranks on the same day.  Could this be “peeping Thom” karma catching up with him?

Sophie Miguel is the first to take a kick at the can.

A little later, I hear an evil laugh.  When I look in the front yard, I see Joe Carr walking away from another overturned trashcan.  He looks innocent, here, but I know what he was doing.

Oh, well.  More compost for the garden!

Thanks for reading!
