The computer also helps with the job search. Alma wants to work in Science, so she signs up as a Test Subject.
It's not all free fun and hot dogs. Alma is burgled on her second day of play!
What's with the cape and mask, you ask? You're witnessing my failed attempt to customize the burglars. Russ Bear is supposed to be a dashing highwayman.
While running his eye over her paltry possessions, Russ spots Alma's artwork.
Everybody's a critic.
Russ isn't a complete philistine. He steals Alma's books!
Alma saw what you did there, Russ.
So did Officer Centowski. He confronts the burglar in the tightest corner of this tiny house.
Russ has nowhere to go and is quickly overwhelmed. Centowski cuffs him.
Alma throws on a coat and follows them to the cruiser.
Looks like she's smitten with Russ's debonair looks.
That lasts until morning, when she realizes that there's no reward for capturing him.
