Yesterday, Thomas trusted the power of the engagement ring to guide his hand during a round of Don't Wake Up the Llama.
This morning, George wakes up with every intention of swimming at the gym. In contrast, his fiancé thinks they should stay at home and fool around. (“The butterflies and the fireflies” represent “the birds and the bees.”)
George comes up with some good reasons for working-out, but Thom pooh-poohs them all.

Guess who won that argument?

Much later, they try getting up, again. It's all good, though - they need their rest, since this is the night of their bachelor parties!
Thom's party is organized by his best friend, Melissa Fancey, at The Pink Flamingo Nest.
(Sadly, my game didn't accept all of the Nest's custom content.)

Thomas gets the party started by jumping into the DJ's booth.
He digs Mel's crazy neck-jive.
When he finishes the set, Frances auto-greets Thom with a hug and congratulates him on his engagement to George.

Meanwhile, Magnus Wade is auto-admiring Melissa.
She assumes this is a come-on, but in fact, Magnus prefers blondes.
At the bar, Waylon is also striking out. He tries to chat up Mrs. Crumplebottom, but all he gets in reply is a lecture.
Being rejected for a blonde is a blow to any brunette's pride, but a Romance Sim feels it most keenly. Lark sees Mel sitting at the bar, looking pretty bummed.

He decides to cheer her up with a joke. Which requires him to poke her boob, apparently. Melissa doesn't mind, though. In fact, it restores her confidence - she's still got what men want!
She's ready to party, again, when Thom calls her on-stage for karaoke.
(Mel has a great voice, but Thom sucked at it.)

Simply Styling Waylon is bouncing back, too. He catches Tiffany's eye by showing off on the electroscope.
Tiffany is impressed enough to chat with him.
Turns out they go way back.
Tiffany: “I remember you, now. You're the goofy kid at the back of the bus who made rude noises with his armpit.”
Waylon hopes he might have a chance, for old times' sake. But, no, he hasn't improved with age.
Tiffany prefers Goth types, and besides, her taste runs to younger men.
Oh, gawd, no.
Next door, George's bachelor party is going strong at the Crypt O'Night Club -
- which comes as a surprize to the party's organizer, Amelia Penn. She wanted to spend the evening at a posh wine-bar, but the vampires had other ideas.

As I'm making the guests selectable, I discover that the vampires aren't the only NPCs taking control, tonight. Somewhere on this lot, a ninja is hiding.
Ah, there he is! Good thing he hid in front of the counter instead of behind it. Otherwise, I might not have spotted him.
(Count Leonid does a vampire-face-palm at the Ninja's fail.)
Countess Solveig tries to be nice by auto-admiring the vampire-bully, but Mary replies to her rudely. I guess she's getting her bullying out of the way so that she can enjoy the rest of the evening.
In contrast, George is very receptive to Count Leonid's constant attention. (The Countess approves.) I'm happy to see this, 'cause I hope it means the Count will want to bite him, soon.
Whoa, look at this folks! A rare instance of the vampire-mind-meld in action. I hope that George is thinking “Bite me!” Well, not those exact words, of course.
Two other Sims are bonding, as well: Ben is very attentive to Amelia, this evening. He greets her with a big kiss, then tells her jokes and massages her shoulders. When I last played with Amelia, they were exploring a mutual attraction. Looks like Ben is ready to pick up where I left off!
Time to hit the dance floor!
Geez, what a nerd. On his way there, George whips out a book for a quick brain-boost.
Everybody dance, now!
Now, that's not nice, Mary and George. Those vampires were dancing long before you were born. Or your great-grandparents were born, for that matter.
George playfully auto-invites Mary to hit him with her best shot. It's all fun and games while he's still human.
(Ariel seems to be doing a club-crawl. The dark-winged angel showed up at the Pink Flamingo, too.)
George joins Amelia at the bar just as she finishes swooning over Ben. She looks up at him with a radiant smile. I've never seen her so happy! I'm glad that she's moving on from her hopeless infatuation with George to someone who can love her, in return.
