One night, George and Thomas visit the graveyard. While George plays poker and Thom chats with the locals, my asylum Sim has a run-in with the (un)friendly neighbourhood vampires.
Mary Lamb is the playable Sim in my asylum challenge. Because I'm careless about visitor control hacks, Mary is able to wander about town. At the graveyard, she bumps into her inverse twin, Kelly Vu. Kelly has the same hairstyle and taste in clothing as Mary does, and their names both end in “y.” They have different colouring, though, and don't share the same interest in Music & Dance.
Next, Mary bumps into Brandon Lilliard. Brandon announces how attractive he finds her boyfriend, Ash Leelaporn.
Brandon sneaks up behind Mary so that he can catch a lingering whiff of Ash's cologne. Meanwhile, a Grand Vampire, Count Leonid Rauscher, sneaks up behind Brandon.
Just then, Jeremy Byron enters the crypt. The two vampires strike a pose. (Bonus Thomas photobomb.)

Now, Mary and Jeremy are already acquainted. In fact, he often calls her up, at the asylum. So for no apparent reason, he picks a fight with her.
I couldn't believe it when he slapped her! Even the wall-mask is shocked.
But Mary holds her ground - she smacks him back!
Mary lodges an immediate complaint with the Grand Vampire. She demands that he address this unprovoked attack upon a human.
As you can see, she's pretty bent out of shape over Jeremy's behaviour.
Here comes Jeremy to justify himself.
“I don't think so, buddy! You were way out of line!”
After listening to both sides of the story, the Tetrarch has reached a decision. In a rare instance of vampire solidarity, Count Leonid sides with Jeremy. He reminds Mary that she is only a human, and she should not question the actions of an immortal.
That's not good enough, for Mary. She still wants an apology! Count Leonid is taken-aback by this determined human.
At this point, the mediation has reached an impasse. None of them looks satisfied with the outcome.
So, I scroll over to the poker crypt to check on George, and I direct Thom to call the cab to go home. While I'm watching the game, I notice that the action has dropped out of Thom's queue.
I scroll back to check on him, and this is what I see:
Now, I've watched vampires fight on “Buffy” and “Van Helsing.” I was expecting - well, not a slappy-fight. The silver candle-holder does add an air of elegance to the melee, though.
At this point, I realized that chivalry is dead, in my game. Just look at these guys. Not only is Jeremy beating up a woman, but the Count is cheering him on. Ben has run off to a safe distance. Brandon is more concerned about the furniture than he is about Mary, and Thom is focusing on their technique (such as it is).
Mary doesn't need a man to rescue her, though. She's quite capable of winning the fight, on her own!
I don't think this is the end of the quarrel, however. Jeremy has been bested by a human, and in front of a Grand Vampire, too! He'll be looking for revenge.
This could be the beginning of a new role for my asylum Sim, though - Mary Lamb, Vampire-Slayer!
(Or Vampire-Bully, perhaps. Mary wouldn't actually kill them, in my game. She'd just rough them up, a bit.)
Bonus Update!
The next time I visited Jeremy's lot, I saw that he had rolled the following wants.
I figured that Jeremy would want revenge, but I was shocked by what he has in mind. Not only does he want Mary dead -- he wants her undead!
Jeremy is originally from
silenzii's game. In her own game,
silenzii usually assigns a zombie servant to her vampire households. Based upon his previous experience, it looks like Jeremy's pride will only be satisfied when Mary becomes his eternal slave!
