Temeraire AU what in God's name

Lalala writer's block is terrible and I have no ideas so here is 4000 words of me playing around in the Temeraire universe just to get a feel for it, what is my life. If you aren't familiar with Temeraire, it's pretty much the Napoleonic wars except with dragons. It is awesome. Unlike this. Please don't judge me. Someday I hope to know how to write

I love Temeraire and I love your writing so this is as;dlkfjasdfa;sjfaj for me. You didn't say this was going to continue, but I hope like mad that it does.

You have such a good feel for the dragons (the dialogue is excellent), and for the social demarcations that are so much a part of Naomi's 'verse. I can't tell you how much I love Arthur's staunch loyalty to his slightly dim (but endearing) Felix, and it got even more interesting when you gave him an aristocratic background. I am SO CURIOUS about how Eames had 'crushed Arthur's career' since the problem isn't obvious (to me).

What a tease this is! :D
