It's annoying because all the stuff is still on the server, it's just the database configuration that's been wiped. I can re-configure it without a problem but the site key number (10 digits) is randomly generated and without it I can't access the older material. I think.
I've got a ticket in with my hosting company to see if they can give me a backup of that one file (or actually the same file on two different sub domains) but I'm not holding out a huge amount of hope.
Hmmm. actually, just done a bit of rooting about and it should be in the MySQL database. So if I find it, I can re-enter it in the config.php file and I *should* be okay...
