So I'm vidding. Some of you know this already, but those of you to whom this is news? It's not really a big shock is it?

I am planning an episodic vid for Supernatural "Houses of the Holy" and was watching it again there to take notes on where the clips I need would come from and these notes are the result:

My vids have no plan until I start dumping clips on the timeline. Kinda clip soup to start.

I tried that way - having a vague idea of what mood I was going for and throwing things at the timeline - but I was getting to around the 45 second mark and thinking it had lost its way so I decided it would be better to actually have the clips down on paper so that I could find them when I needed them.

Is probably a good plan indeed.
What program you using to vid? Good ole WMM or something more advanced?

For the rough cut I'm using WMM but for the final I'm planning on using Premier Pro

Good grief but you're thorough. I always start with lyric sheet and then go through ripped clips by chapter. But it aint nothing like these notes....

Hee! It wasn't meant to be quite as thorough as it ended up being to be honest - I had the lyric sheet on the desk and was scribbling notes on it and realised I was running out of space so...
