Today wasn't so bad, despite it being incredibly hard to get out of bed in the morning. The kids had a free afternoon to play outside, thanks to two moms setting up activities and bringing popsicles. I was rudely awakened at 3am by one of the most horrible and heinous sounds I have ever heard coming from somewhere right outside my open windows on the front lawn.
