I know. But that doesn't mean I'm about to be all "Mmm, bonus ants in my Cadbury egg. Sweet!"

oh man that's awful. we are also suffering an ant invasion here, although some of them have wings, making them more evil. I think we're on the end of it (we bought this stuff called Combat, its a gel of ant poison. I dunno if its safe to use around the bird though. we have those little trap things that are full of poison that the ants take back to their hill or whatever that poisons all of them too. so far its been 3 or 4 days since I last saw any of the ants (the winged ones seem to outlast the regular ones, even with poison) but we're gonna bomb the house this weekend.

I am sorry you ate ants. I understand the horror of that.

We have flying ants every year too, but luckily they only hang around the outside of the garage and the back patio. They tend to cover the walls and ground for a day or two and then they're gone. We also get the little ants in the kitchen at the beginning of each summer, which is a pain.

Maybe the ants that I are were full of nutritious things and will make me healthier. *crosses fingers*
