1. deep discount dvd is totally ripping off tower (we had a 5 day sale of which today is the last day, 20% off all dvds. and we need the business more!!)

1. If there was a Tower located at a convenient distance from me, I would give them my business. Maybe. That would require leaving the house on a lazy Saturday.

alas, it wasn't me who mentioned that website.

I actually made a pasta salad yesterday. it had feta & mozzerella cheese, tomatoes, and oil. sounds simple to a seasoned chef, I'm sure, but there are so few things I can make without ruining them. :P anyway, it looks like I can add another to the slim list. it was very tasty.

I can sort of boil pasta (sometimes it's even edible), but when I have to add things to it, it just doesn't work out. I'm completely incompetent and too lazy to care.

I'm pretty good when it comes to boiling pasta. I got used to it because I had to fix about 100 spaghetti dinners while my mom was in school--using canned sauce, of course.

I boiled some ziti (I think) the other day and that turned out fairly well. But when it comes to boiling raviolis, 9 times out of 10 they end up either overcooked or undercooked. Stupid directions not helping me.
