did all interactions with Kirk cause delight for you? because I was very happy with the kirk scenes and Im wondering if its just because Im crazy or if they were just that cute.

I wandered around after the episode was over repeating "Dean got married" disconsolately (I am probably using that word wrong because I can't remember if its spelled like that or not)

Kirk scenes always make me happy because he's just so weird. And that's saying something since the whole town is weird.

Dean wasn't supposed to get married, at least not to that blonde chick. He was supposed to end up with Rory, after some time being friends with her.

Well, there's always the divorce option.

maybe she'll die in some freak accident like the microwave exploding when she's heating mac and cheese and she dies after sustaining serious burns and she was wearing polyester so it melted to her skin and then...

I like your train of thought. Maybe the present that Lorelai bought them is the microwave that explodes. Or maybe it's the polyester that she's wearing at the time.
