Here's a blurb for Semi-Sentient Soap Scum on the Prowl
Marlowe is having another one of those days. Again. A bar of sentient soap murdered him this morning, a spacewoman with an unsolvable case descended on him this afternoon, and a cabal of conspiracies came crashing down around him this evening. Now he has to solve his murder before being killed again, race against the clock to save the beautiful spacewoman, and stop the horrifying conspiracies, all while pitted against his two old enemies, his long dead father and the imposing Chief Minister of Policing Obedere. And to top it all off, the parrots are stirring up trouble again....
