I didn't realize that about divorce in Ohio! I am googling traditional and same-sex marriage/divorce laws in another tab right now; apparently there's a lot more to it for people in your situation than I ever realized. "What a pain the ass" is right!
Although I've known a number of gay guys, you're the first lesbian I've really ever had contact with, and it's intriguing to read about relationship-building, etc. from a woman's point of view. Thanks for letting me be snoopy. :-D
