So, I had a blast yesterday roaming the wooded lands with my exgirlfriend and my daughter Sage.  Did some GeoCacheing (if that is right) and explored a bog, found some snakes (cute black and yellow striped things) and ate apples off of the trees (mmm organic apples).  Took many pictures of course and now I sit in the Fairfield suites in   ( Read more... )

Guess you're going to be too busy to see Bug, Hatchet, Harry Potter V (though it comes with hard-coded subtitles in a foreign language), or War (*chant* Jet Li)? = )

Personally, I am looking forward to watching Hatchet -- IMDB says:

"Plot Outline: When a group of tourists on a New Orleans haunted swamp tour find themselves stranded in the wilderness, their evening of fun and spooks turns into a horrific nightmare."

How can that not be a good time, be it bad or good movie? ; )

My DVD player downstairs went kaput, by the way -- looking to replace it really soon. Won't be a huge headache this time, at least, since Divx/Xvid codecs have been adopted as standard on up-to-date players = ) And thank god they're cheap!

I think I still have my spare dvd player in my closet. I replaced it because I thought that the brightness was screwed but now I know it is my ancient television. I will double check when I get home this weekend... and I would be all up in a hatchet/war double header...

Heh - believe it or not, I still have that shirt and I'm not even sure why it's survived this long when nothing else in my wardrobe has. I most recently wore it last summer; Greg has an icon of us from a club and I have it on.

Good times, Pat. Glad you're still with us. :)

Bex was frantic after that con wondering who this "wench" was and if she was going to be part of the regular crew... You make a hell of a first impression.

My other favorite memory of you is running to your room to gather a certain tool when all persons around you failed to live 'up' to your desires...

Damn good times.

Someone actually had the Tori Amos cover of "Mondays" and I started to sing along. For some reason picking blackberries with you and Jules by the train tracks came to mind.
