I don't take part in Yuletide, but I read a lot of fics and what I'm more interested in are the small book fandoms. I take a look at the whole list of fandoms and sometimes discover things that probably wouldn't get created outside of Yuletide, like fics based on ads. It's fun. :-)

It's always fun to see the unique works created for Yuletide. I particularly like the fics based on Kate Beaton's work.

I'm not sure I've ever read fics based on her work, but I've seen many fun fanarts.

I've never participated in Yuletide. October through the end of the year is just way too busy for me. I do like to scan the fandom list and check some works out.

I still need to read Trixie Belden. There's a couple of Mom's old TB books in our house. I should really give them a try. :)

This will be my first year officially writing, but I also like to scan the fandoms to get prompts from the letters.

Please let me know when you've read Trixie Belden! Jixemitri exists, but it would be great to talk to someone about the books outside of the main fandom. :)

Last year I nominated and then didn't sign up, so this year I must make sure to do both! Haven't decided what to nom yet though.
