i wish i could be there to cheer you up. try not to feel too sad, because like you said, you still have him with you. i understand how you feel when you say you wish things could be how they were before, but everything changes and it's frustrating and it hurts. sometimes i believe that everything happens for a reason, and then sometimes i just tell myself that even though it's hard to believe that there could be any good reason for some of the infinite sadness that we can experience in life. i miss you both and i love you!

i hope to see you soon also. i miss living in Hattiesburg so much. even though so much family drama was going on and Evan was gone for 8 months, it was still a great year because i got to live near my awesome friends! i've got a lot to tell you too. if you have the time, maybe we can email each other so that when we do get to see each other, it won't be so much info to catch up on. i've only been living in Birmingham a few weeks, and it feels like i've been gone for months!
of course, friends forever, you goose! we were still friends even when you lived in Texas, so just because i moved away it's not like i'm going to forget about you! we're friends forever, no matter what!
