This is absolutely wonderful, I feel all teary at the end. It's quiet and hopeful and sad, and that's the mix I like best. I enjoyed the characterizations too, and the litle details you threw in like Ji's moleskine notebook and leaves clogging the arteries of the streets and Ji's squiffy teeth (its weird, the things I pick up on in stories).
I'm so glad I didn't go to class today and got to read this instead :D

thank you so much! i'm happy this hit those points for you, because i like those too. i was kind of worried about how they came off here, because...idk, they're a little stylized? i don't know if that's the right word. i kind of was trying to get at their dynamic from a different angle, i guess. and glad you liked the details :D the ones you picked out are my favorites too (and i wish gd had just kept his wonky front tooth, it gave him more character lol).

I actually cried at the end TT_________TT
This was so beautiful and i love the simplicity of your writing. I felt really connected to the story and I'm so glad there was a happy ending coz I was getting a bit upset in the middle there when I thought it was over for good xD
I'm glad SeungHyun opened up to Ji in the end and I love how you included Ji's parents in the ending; it was really heartwarming.

ugh melissa you are perfect

this is perfect, i love the quiet affection and the dialogue and especially the section about seunghyun's picture and how he shows it to his friends when they're fighting because it's so sad. like i mean i know you probably meant it to be poignant but it just felt so sad to me, like seunghyun is so resigned about his past and who he is ;____; and wahhh, meeting the family ♥

argadlgjs thank you, this is probably the first fic in a while i've felt happy about posting, idek. but yeah! when i wrote it i meant for it to show that he was well-adjusted enough that he could make fun of himself, but then at the same time he's obviously got a lot to work on what with his communication issues and such ;__; so there are obvs contradictions there. kwon family ♥
