setting it in winterrrrr! you've infused the story with the bleached out super-brightness that hurts to read/look at/idk i'm mixing my metaphors

howww do you manage to take tropes that are so maudlin and OTT and make them spare and sincere and honest HOW OKAY

the bits with daesung and youngbae and how they have a stake in seunghyun too, they love him too

this line: "are you there?" is where i lost it, largely because i didn't properly get the sense of how much he WASN'T there until he abruptly was again

also i found this story weirdly hopeful because idk at least ji gets those few hours with him i mean idk?
