Back home and at work, after four days in the middle of nowhere and two days in Eugene. (I think I drove more, and spent more money, than I ever have in Eugene. As for flickr, I use it all the time and it's absolutely amazing, the only thing is there are strict usage limits for free accounts, so if you're asking everyone to create their own, they may find that they run into the upload limits quite quickly if they're posting large files. It might work out better if you sign up for a pro account (about $20 for the year) and share that password around. That way there are no limits on numbers of pics or the size of files.
Once photos are uploaded it's very simple to create a group and add everything to the pool, so people who are already on the site can very simply add their shots in too. There should also be an 'order print' button on each photo, provided you've set that as an option (http://www.flickr.com/help/printing/) so everyone can get their own choice of shots sent directly to them.
If you need more flickr info, just yell, but I'd wholeheartedly recommend it.
