This is why I prefer Bela over Ruby; something about her just makes her actions more realistic than a demon who wants to be good, do good for no reason. I understand motives and this, just sets up part of what she might be. Thanks for sharing the fic. It was lovely.

I always liked fanfic Bela better than canon Bela and this is the sort of thing that says exactly why. You've captured what the writers should have done with the character. Fantastic. Chilling and sparse and awesome.
