I LOVE THAT MOVIE AHHHH Midsummer Night's Dream was one of my fave Shakespeare plays I had to read in school (I really haven't read enough. And only read them in school >_>). BUT YEAH. Try to see the whole movie if you can. WHOLE TOWN TURNING GAY, WOOO!!

I looked it up; it sounds like such a great movie. I mean, the clip jihime47 posted had topless men singing Shakespeare in silver lamee shorts and sparkly makeup! It's everything I ever wanted!

I must confess to being sick to death of A Midsummer Night's Dream. It just gets performed and moviefied so many times, and it's not as funny as some of the others. Although Kevin Kline as Bottom will always rekindle my interest in it.

Don't worry about reading the plays, just pick up some movies and you'll catch on fine. School is the worst environment possible to do Shakespeare in.

Familiar with Twelfth Night? It has about three practically canon gay couples, and one of 'em's girl-girl.

I LOVE 'Pyramus and Thisby'. As well as 'Were the World Mine'. Damn, I really need to watch this movie. >_>
