Oh hey! I didn't know you are taking painting this summer. Are you planning on taking painting 400 in the fall/spring? I'm signed up to take it Wednesday afternoons. Eliza Griffiths is apparently teaching it at that time, and she is supposed to be pretty good.

How is getting off at Snowdon better for you to get home? Unless you weren't going home? But if you get off at Cote-Ste-Catherine you can catch the 129 up the street and get off at Decelles. From there it would be a short walk home, wouldn't it? Man you live close! We should hang out soon. What's your schedule like?

Oh, and it is FUCKING HOT. And it never stormed! Sometimes I feel as though the weather network just says it will to keep people from shooting themselves.

p.s. that last painting is kind of horrifying! But neat!

I am actually signed up for 460 (methods and materials) on Friday mornings, first because all the 400s were full but it actually sounds really interesting. Apparently the class is divided into sections and each one is a different sort of painting, so there is one for encaustic, tempera, fresco, etc and for each one you research the technique then do a small painting. Downside is it starts at 8.30am.

I usually take the 51 from snowdon cause it goes right to my front door and passes more often I think. I ended up walking from CSC and it wasn't so bad but the 129 never passed since it was after midnight and I'd just missed it. I probably passed your apartment, actually. But yeah, I have painting from 1 to 5 every Monday and Wednesday and aside from that I am pretty much always free. You have my cell number, right?

Also, that last painting is way scarier in real life, it is pretty big. I think the other one is probably creepier cause it is all washed out and looks like it is yelling, but I didn't have time to take a picture.
