[Death normally has a full-time job, being a psychopomp and all that, but for the moment, she's taking a small break. A girl needs to let her hair down every once in a while, and Death isn't an exception. She's an anthropomorphic personification, after all. That's... at least a little bit human, when you get down to it.]
[So she's settled on a little walk around Death City (really? He couldn't have called it something a little less... overt for a name? Wouldn't 'Elegy' have been at least a little more subtle?), parasol slung over one shoulder. She's been there several times before, and will be there several times since, but this time, it's for pleasure, not business.]
[Meisters, take note - she has no soul, but not for a lack of trying. Neat freaks, beware...]
[ Kid is actually alone today, the Thompsons gone off for a girls day with Maka and Tsubaki. One of the things he does when he has little else to do is show up at stores and shops throughout Death City and just organize things for people.
They let him, partly because they know who he is and partly because, he's not hurting anything.
But he stops folding dress shirts at the tailor's shop when he feels a familiar, and completely unmistakable, presence out in the street. ]
[It's been a while since she's last seen him, but it's hard to mistake him. Even if she last saw him when he was just an infant, those Sanzu lines are unmistakable. She waves to him, beckoning him to come outside and enjoy the sunshine.]
Hey there, Kid. You've grown up quite a bit since we last saw each other, haven't you?
