What wonderful New Years present. I fell for this story when I read … “She lives in a word of quiet joy, full of love and respect, but there are no carols.” Perfection. Your Sarek is spot on, caring but logical…“the way he sinks into her mind as they touch”. It is definitely the intense images created by your words that will stay with me… “Her happiness gleams inside of her like the painted rocks of the desert on the edge of the city. Amanda could radiate happiness the way they bleed heat into the night.”
I loved your description of Vulcans and their outlook, very thought provoking…and the description of human and Vulcan love was magical.
