Totally not odd--I have 10,000 words of a female Enterprise story that's been molding in my WIP folder for about a year now.

I would be all over that in a second, WIP or not. The only anthropomorphic!Enterprise fic I've come across so far is irnan's all the lights that lead us there. There really needs to be more out there!
