Oh, this is devastating--in a good way, but still, ouch.

I truly appreciate the quietness and the measured, rational decision making. It's my personal believe that suicide can be ethical and rational under many circumstances, and this would be one of them.

I've also wondered why more Tarsus fics don't invoke our all-too-present knowledge of similar catastrophes on Earth; I suppose (at least, in my case) it's authors being afraid to deal with those sensitive subjects in fanfic. You did it very effectively and sensitively, and this one will be echoing around in my brain for quite a while.

Wow. I love that noble, brave feeling emanating from Hoshi. Very regal, and yet humble at the same time. This was really eloquently written, and just all around very touching. Thank you for sharing this! <3

Oh, thank you very much (and yes, technically I believe her children were on Tarsus but, honestly, I thought this was heartbreaking enough).

I'm sure your fic will be different but as well done. So there.
