aww this was beautiful! when i was in africa over the summer, we were on a boat tour in botswana and our guide said as we passed this huge hotel/resort right on the water that it was the place where liz and richard got married for the second time. it was pretty awesome and i wished i had stayed there! it was gorgeous!

This was so beautiful! ^_^ I love the quotes sprinkled throughout, and the Elizabeth Burton photo.

Their violent love for each other makes their relationship more complex and multi-dimensional imo - absolutely compelling.

Absolutely, I love how flawed but beautiful their relationship was. I don't know what it is about old hollywood romances but they were always more dramatic and heartbreaking. I just love that era so much more than todays.
