1. Cherry Jones has captivated my attention over the last few days. To some degree, I don't see her as being particularly fangirl-worthy. I think I would enjoy being friends with her instead. And making out in the rain, maybe, but I want to do that with everyone. Not just the epic, gorgeous, amazing actress lesbians who play presidents on my shows.

I still have to reply to your comments. They were intense and require thought behind my replies, which has been difficult with my dizzy mind these past few days.

I'm pissed off. Like, it was actually probably a good episode, but they KILLED FUCKING BILL BUCHANAN. AND THEY probably EXECUTED MARTHA. FUCK THAT. WHATEVER. GO DIE.

lmao I voted Kiwi, just because when I was like twelve I used Kiwi Corrigan as a pseudonym (I misspelled that) and thought it was hip.

I really, really want Olivia to turn into Sherry Palmer. That would be awesome.

But still. BILLLLLL. This is why 24 ends at season 3 for me. After that, I reject their reality and substitute my own.

For serious! I did not enjoy the Martha mention either...like, I just want to forget about that whole thing.

That would be awesome. Because then when she totally betrayed her mom, so much acting would occur, and it would validate the show just a little bit when I would be about to lose interest again.

Ugh yes, I'm holding out for the invention of a time machine so I can go back and replace them with good writers.

Tragically I've over-thought the Martha on a criminal charge angle and although I don't expect 24 to give a hoot about the actual reality of law, Martha could never be done on a Murder One charge given her state and the suddenness of the attack. She might have had the mens rea to kill him but it wasn't premeditated - she reacted in the moment and was arguably provoked. It would be Murder Two at worst and more than likely an insanity plea, which given her history, the location of where she stabbed Charles etc, at a rest home, and again the quickness of how she turned on him, it would leave her sentenced to a psychiatric facility.

I think she's dead though :(

Yeah, thinking about this after the initial anger of last night, her being executed just doesn't make sense. It would depend on the fact that Logan is dead, which has never been confirmed, and any lawyer worth a damn would plead insanity. I absolutely could see her committing suicide if faced with the prospect of life in an asylum, though.

Will you hate me forever and a day if I tell you I've always had a bizarre aversion to Cherry Jones? I can't explain it. (I'm exactly the same way with Cybill Shepherd and Kathleen Turner.) Sorry, mon frère. But I'm glad she's bringing you happiness.

Oh man no that's totally fine, lover, plus I enjoy that you can actually tell me that. I've had a weird history with her; there have been times when she's creeped me out beyond reason, but most of the time I just found her sort of bland and couldn't give a shit either way. She's definitely bugged me on several occasions though and it's been a bumpy fangirling road so far. Sometimes I just get pissed off about something stupid like the way she walks and I have to go on a journey to rationalize it or whatever
