LMAo, 24 does have some of the shitest dialog ever. And unless they've got a really good actor saying the lines, you realise how bad they are.

I mean, some of the stuff Martha said was just..*shudders* but Jean Smart was really good at delivering the lines, you don't really notice it.

Right?! Oh my god, I can't believe I never noticed before. Martha in particular is an amazing example, like because her character was crazy they thought they could maybe put less effort into making the dialogue realistic.
