I'm INTP, too. It's always a hoot to have to go through the whole process of proving to people that I'm not snobby, I'm just introverted. EVERYTIME I meet someone new.
Oh my god, so true. Everyone thinks I'm a bitch with a massive superiority complex but I'm really just totally insecure and afraid to talk to people the whole time.
Me, too! And I like to hang back and observe first, instead of jumping in and being the life of the party. I've kind of learned to fake it to a certain extent, but then THAT backfires, b/c then people think I am friendly, but just not to them. Then the snobby thing starts again. It never occurs to anyone that you might be shy. UGH. People.
btw, we are less than 1% of the population, I think.
