I love Psalm 139, at least the first 75% - then it gets a little blood thirsty. I think my favorite part is:
"You formed my inmost being; you knit me in my mother's womb. I praise you, so wonderfully you made me; wonderful are your works! My very self you knew"
It's a comforting and awesome thought that someone knew me before I was born.
This is the Catholic translation (I'm Catholic), but I like the King James translation of "I am fearfully and wonderfully made."
Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne? Though she may forget, I will not forget you! See, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands; your walls are ever before me.
