Oddly enough, I actually had some anger issues come up while reading the book that I hadn't felt toward Carl since his conversion. I had always been a defender of his because I was angry that a lot of his friends would use religion to alienate him. Zombie Spaceship Wasteland by Patton Oswalt. It is a comedy/memoire. I might go back to that.
Letters of a Woman Homesteader by Elinore Pruitt Stewart - It was a free ebook through Amazon but I never got into it.
All Things Shining by Hubert Dreyfus - a book on modern philosophy. I actually got about halfway though and started craving some mindless fiction. I may go back to it too.
The Spell by Heather Killough-Walden
This was also a $1 book on Kindle and I just think it is bad. The other $1 books weren't great either, but they were at least entertaining. This was not.
