Long time no see. Sorry about that. For a while LJ was being ridiculously S-L-O-W for me and I got frustrated and left it alone for a long while. But I have missed reading about your exploits. It seems to be somewhat better now... hope so, I would like to get at least a bit more caught up with everyone. Hope you are doing well

ahhh, the Pensic wars. I've always wanted to go either there or to Burning Man, but I have a feeling Burning Man would win. It's the artist in me winning over my Ren Faire geek side :-) Have a truly fabulous time and come back to tell lots of great tales of (mis)adventure.

I've always been peripherally interested in LARPing... just a bit... but scared off for various reasons.

The Wild Hunt

*Actually a not-horrible movie (better than the SyFy channel's dreck, but not quite up there with Quality films).

- Not much fic writing going on... or at least no output. But many ideas continue to swirl.

Same here. Lots of swirl at work that demands 99% of "the Dark Muse's" energy. All "he" wants to do during down time is watch teevee. Or allow me to indulge in the disgustingly hobbitish activity of gardening.

"Hands of the King" is a truly excellent fanfic, and I'm glad that it is finally being posted in full (it stopped for mysterious reasons a couple of chapters short of completion, if I recall correctly). Now there's only "The Leithian Script" outstanding among the Great Unfinished Tolkien Fics.
