“Are you certain?” Luke asked breathlessly against Noah’s lips as they finally parted. He could not believe that this amazing man beneath him was offering himself openly to him… after everything that had happened tonight. Noah made him feel truly loved. Dare he hope that Noah was right about him? He was on the very edge of believing the other man."

Such a beautiful climatic scene capping such a wonderful period piece which if i remember correctly started out as a one shot/standalone way back when...

From the imagery to the language (had me running to goggle certain Medieval English terms) to the homage of loyalty and love no matter the century, your arrow...err pen hit the bull's eye with this effort, my friend.

What a privilege it's been to read First Knight, parts of which i've confess to reading again some nights. It begs me to ask...Pray good woman, ANY chance of an epilogue?

Thank you so much, Sue! I'm so glad you've enjoyed this journey back into my first period piece with me. And you're quite right - it did start out as a one shot for a prompt for the what_did_you_do meme back in June 2012!

LOL I must admit, I reached for my own google search a time or two to check a word!

Thank you for your kind words along the way. I'm so glad you enjoyed it enough to re-read parts of it too. I've loved writing it, and I could have gone on and on lol But it had to end somewhere. I'd love to re-visit this world someday and write a continuation...

Thanks again, Sue.

Yes - it surprised me when I checked the dates but there was a huge gap of months between the first and second chapters when I decided to continue the story... not to mention getting caught up in reading last year's Big Bang stories!

Ah thank you so much, Stella. I'm so glad you enjoyed the final chapter. I could've gone on and on with this story; I've had so much fun writing it. But I thought it was a good place to leave it - with Noah being the glue that is holding Luke together after his world has fallen apart.

I'm so glad you've enjoying reading this story and journeying through this period piece with me.

Your kind words always mean so much.

Thanks again for reading xx

I want to slap Luke for almost killing himself before he heard Noah's voice. On the plus side, a certain medic could've been relied upon to console Noah properly...

Seriously, what a fabulous story from start to finish! I'm already awaiting your next masterpiece. :D

Aww go easy on poor Luke! Well at least you got comfort from knowing Reid could console Noah lol!

Thanks so much for reading and taking this journey into my first period piece with me. Hopefully I haven't mortally wounded the English language! hehe.

I don't know about masterpiece but I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Thanks Nic.
